New Year, New Mama 2011

By Kate |

Do you have any new year’s resolutions? I know, I know, the term is so cliche, but the truth is that that start of a new year is the perfect time to think about goals and change our priorities to make sure we can meet those goals. January on The Shopping Mama will focus on tips, trends and products to help us get in shape, find our style and to better organize our lives.

As we continue to work on the New Year, New Mama series for 2011, take a look back at some of the great posts from last year.

What are your personal goals for 2011? Any professional or blog goals for the new year?

Kate started The Shopping Mama™ in January 2009 when, after graduating law school, she traded in online legal research and writing for locating the best products for children. She shops for three kids ages 7, 5 and 2 from their home in Japan. Her military family is making the most of back-to-back overseas assignments by traveling every chance they get.

I’ve been thinking about it for a few weeks and truthfully .. no big goals here. I’m just going to “wing it” as always, it works for me .. most of the time. :)

I’ve set goals with a business plan. I think resolutions sound negative and often are too hard to attain. Goals can be planned and plotted.

No goals or resolutions for this year since I seem to be quite unsuccessful with them :-) However, last year I promised myself that I would make decisions and changes about my career and in August I was starting a new job so maybe sometimes it does work out! Best wishes to you, Kate, in whatever you set out to do in 2010.
