Okay, it’s no secret I love to shop for clothes for my kids. A lot. More than I should. As much as I like boutique and handmade clothes, they are certainly not realistic for every day wear with crazy young kids. So when I’m looking for practical, affordable and, of course, cute clothes for my kids I always shop Old Navy. Always. More than I should. (Want proof? My kids have been wearing Old Navy clothes literally since they were born. It’s an awesome place to stock up on basics like long sleeved onesies for babies and pajamas. But, you can also find really stylish clothes for your little fashionista. And, let’s face it: They are a great buy because the price tag is so reasonable but the quality is still there. Like a lot of moms, I like my kids to look cute when they go to preschool or a play date, but I also need to be practical. And it’s not practical to send my 2 year old in a $30 top to Mom’s Day Out knowing she’s going to be painting, eating and playing like a toddler for hours.
But you know what makes sense? Spending $8 on a clever tee that makes all the moms on the playground giggle. Or spending $10 on a dress that you can wear over and over again – dressed up for dinner, or paired with leggings for play.
