Last month we shared the good news that Chewbeads has launched a children’s jewelry collection called Juniorbeads. We rejoiced and squealed with delight. My daughter loves trying on my jewelry but I don’t want her playing with it because it’s not child-friendly and, frankly, some of it is rather expensive. Like Chewbeads, Juniorbeads are made of only child-safe materials – only difference is there’s slimmed down a bit to fit a child’s neck more appropriately. The result? She’s happy and I’m happy with Juniorbeads. Pefection!
We were lucky to receive a sample necklace and our four year old has been in jeweled heaven ever since.
The Bleeker Jr. Necklace features multi-colored 100% silicone beads. The breakaway clasp requires my help to put the necklace on around her neck, but she can give it a tug to get it off by herself (if she’s not patient enough to wait for me).
Even though the beads are made of the same material as nipples and pacifiers, they could be a choking hazard for babies so we love that there is a knot between each bead to prevent a bead explosion if the necklace happens to break.
My daughter’s wearing the Chartreuse Bleeker Jr. that has two shades of purple, gray and chartreuse. Bleeker Jr. is also available Punchy Pink and Turquoise.
See the Bleeker as a part of more outfits on the What They Wore blog.
We love the Juniorbeads by Chewbeads and think they’re a great option for girly girls who want some jewelry of their own. A Juniorbeads necklace is also a perfect present to include in Easter baskets!
Shop! Juniorbeads are currently available for purchase at the Chewbeads website. The Bleeker Jr. Necklace is $22.50 and the Jane Jr. Necklace is $19.50.
