Toy Tuesday: Baby Musical Activity Center

By Lauren Barth |

ttMusical Activity Center for BabyThis toy is very, very… busy!

With endless buttons, gears, lights, sounds, and games, this musical playtime pentagon has five different sides with five different activities.

The beads at the top are great for encouraging my little’s fine motor skills. She can hit that big white light-up button with her hands or the accompanying hammer. Then there’s a mini pinball game, nails to bang down, a mirror to admire herself in, a pop-up microphone (that actually works—testing one, two, three!), a tiny steering wheel for practice driving, and a removable cell phone for imaginative play! Seriously, this is like ten toys in one.

Sometimes, super-colorful super-jam-packed multipurpose activity centers can be a little–shall we say–OVER STIMULATING, but this one is keeps Baby P entertained for a few minutes at a time (I’m not being facetious here!) She’s a 14-month-old—her attention span isn’t supposed to be that long! I’ll happily take 10 minutes of independent play, while I get some work in. Win-win!
