Around here it’s really starting to feel like spring. Warmer weather and longer days. We’ve even had to kick on the air conditioning a few times to cool our house down. Today is the last day of school before my daughter is on a two week spring break. I’ll be honest, I’ve been so busy lately that I haven’t planned anything for us to “do.” But, lucky for me, we’ve been having such nice weather that I’m sure my kids will just enjoy being together and playing outside.
Time to stock up on some spring/summer clothes. We discovered Tea Collection a few years when my daughter was in preschool and have loved the brand ever since. Tea Collection is inspired by Italy this go round.
Twice each year, Tea Collection designers pack their bags and travel to a new destination to collect inspiration. For Tea‘s newest line, designers explored Italy: the Amalfi Coast, Rome, Venice, and Milan. They toured cities on foot, on vespa, and even by boat! From the towering snow-peaked Alps in the north to the sun-soaked cliffs of the Mediterranean coast to the bustling cities where ancient crumbling ruins are at home alongside modern design, this country captures heart and imagination.
My daughter loves pairing the Tre Gusti graphic tee with the vintage inspired Traverse Midi Skirt. Tre Gusti means three flavors in Italian. She love gelato and ice cream of all sorts, so this peach blush-colored shirt with triple gelato is a tee I can see her wearing on repeat this summer.
The Trastevere Midi Skirt is inspired by Trastevere, a town in Rome which is know for its bohemian nature. This skirt has so much flounce and swing, and it’s fun to wear and twirl in. I love the subtle pattern and the fact that you can dress it up with a pretty sweater for a fancier look.
We love that all the styles in Tea Collection’s Italian line can be mixed and matched to create your own unique look.
When my son was almost a year old and learning to walk we were on the hunt for the best shoes for new walkers. That’s when I discovered Pediped and got him his first pair. My daughter got a pair shortly after. We love styling new Tea Collection and Pediped spring collections together.
My daughter absolutely adores the Pediped Flex Bree Blue Floral shoes from their spring line. Of course she’s all about a pretty design, but comfort is still a priority. Pediped shoes offer both comfort and style. These floral shoes are bursting with spring blooms. The breathable fabric lining keep feet from getting too hot and the easy-to-close Mary Jane closures help them go on faster so she can get outdoors with the flowers, where she really want to be.
The flex-fit system insoles offer a little more support and are removable so when her feet grow she can still get some wear out of these adorable shoes for a little longer.
My little guy is looking molto cool in his Ciclismo Graphic Tee. Ciclismo means cycling in Italian. Bicycles are a main means of transportation in many Italian cities. The Tea Collection designers saw biciclettas of all colors all over the streets of Rome. It’s the perfect cool tee for the playground or park.
He’s quickly mastering his new balance bike too—so, he loves all things bicycle.
The Pull-On Canvas Shorts are a must for the spring and summer. With an elastic waistband they are easy to get on and off. This is especially handy when you are potty training. They are 100% cotton canvas, which is perfect for keeping him cool while he is running and jumping.
My son got a pair of the Grip ‘n’ Go Gehrig Gingersnap to add to his Spring wardrobe. I love the lighter colors for spring with a hint of fun blue. These shoes are sturdy enough to withstand a very active toddler and comfy enough that he doesn’t want to take them off. Perfect for casual spring and summer days playing outdoors.
With a Clarino™ and mesh upper and all natural rubber soles, they have quickly become a favorite for seeing how fast he can run.
Every day is Bellissimo with these two sweet faces in my life!
